Which Events Take Place at Honda Center?
Honda Center hosts Anaheim Ducks games, concerts, other sporting events and family shows. The arena’s event listings are the place to check what is scheduled during your trip, and the listings link to ticket purchases.
If you’re comparing game-day plans, Angel Stadium of Anaheim is another local sports venue to consider.
Tickets, Entry and Venue Policies
Buy Honda Center tickets directly through Ticketmaster or the arena Box Office if you want the venue’s authenticity guarantee. The Box Office has regular weekday hours, but its schedule varies during events and it closes on holidays; check the official site before you go.
Main entrance doors typically open 60–90 minutes before an event. Honda Center advises arriving at least 60 minutes early. All guests go through security screening, and anyone who declines a search will be denied entry. Ticketed events have a no-re-entry policy: once your ticket has been scanned and you leave, you cannot use it to return.
Bag limits differ by event. For Anaheim Ducks games, bags and purses must be no larger than 4 in. x 6 in. x 1.5 in.; for other events, the limit is 5 in. x 9 in. x 2 in. Backpacks of any size are prohibited.
At non-Ducks events, each guest may bring one bag. Medical-item and diaper bags up to 12 in. x 12 in. x 12 in. are permitted at all events, subject to additional screening. There is no bag check, so plan to arrive without a prohibited bag.
Wheelchair-accessible and companion seating is available on each arena level, including the floor when floor seating is offered. Event-day relocation to accessible seating depends on availability and is not guaranteed.
How do you get from Orange to Honda Center?
Driving, taking transit to ARTIC, or arranging a drop-off are the main ways to reach Honda Center from Orange. The arena is at 2695 East Katella Avenue in Anaheim, and Honda Center advises arriving at least 60 minutes before the event.
For driving, Honda Center says general parking in its onsite lots—including Katella Garage and Cerritos Garage—is included with event tickets. Parking gates open three hours before most events. For more on arrival and parking details, see this Honda Center parking guide.
ARTIC, the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center, is across the street from the arena and offers rail, bus, taxi and other services. Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and Metrolink serve ARTIC; check their official schedules when planning a train trip. OCTA’s OC Bus Rapid information also lists Honda Center among the places served by its Rapid routes.
Rideshare and taxi pickup and drop-off are at ARTIC, 2626 East Katella Avenue. To reach that pickup point, leave the arena through the South or East Entrances.
Honda Center says the surrounding area is changing with OCVIBE development and that Douglass Road between Katella Avenue and Stanley Cup Way is permanently closed. It recommends using Waze for driving directions. Check the official site before you go for current access and event-day details.
Planning Around Event Time
Work backward from the event start: allow time for the trip, parking or drop-off, security screening and the walk to your seat. Doors typically open 60–90 minutes before an event, and Honda Center advises arriving at least 60 minutes early. Parking gates open three hours before most events, which gives drivers an option to arrive earlier.
Before leaving, confirm your ticket and check the event-specific bag rules. If you’re driving, use the venue’s recommended navigation app and account for the permanent Douglass Road closure. If you’re taking a train, verify the schedule with Amtrak or Metrolink; for bus service, check OCTA’s OC Bus Rapid information.
Villa Park Motel is about a 9-minute drive from Honda Center.
