Angel Stadium of Anaheim: What to Know Before Game Day

The stadium is at 2000 Gene Autry Way, about a 16-minute drive from Villa Park Motel.

For a pregame Uber drop-off, enter through Gene Autry Way. After the event, the rideshare pickup zone is in the parking lot near Gate 1, toward Left Field.

The Amtrak Pacific Surfliner station is a short walk from the stadium, off South Douglass Road; late-night and weekend services are available. Another transit option is the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC), at 2626 East Katella Avenue. Buses, trains and taxis are available there. The nearby Honda Center is another event destination, with planning details for a visit.

Angel Stadium parking entrances are on Douglass Road, State College Boulevard and Orangewood Avenue. For regular-season baseball games, the lot opens two and a half hours before the scheduled first pitch; vehicles are not admitted earlier.

Day-of-game regular-season baseball parking costs $25 for general parking in person or $27 online. Preferred parking costs $35 in person or $37 online, subject to availability. Oversized vehicle or bus parking costs $100 in person and is available through a sales representative only. Vehicles over 20 feet long must use the Orangewood Avenue entrance.

Rates for postseason baseball, Supercross, Monster Jam, concerts and other events can change. One parking ticket allows one vehicle entry and does not permit in-and-out parking. The lot closes one hour after the event ends, and overnight parking is prohibited. Tailgating is allowed only in the Big A Lot; alcohol consumption in the parking lot is prohibited.

Accessible parking is available outside Gates 1–6 and Home Plate Gate. Parking staff direct guests with a valid state-issued disability parking permit or disability license plate to these areas.

Angel Stadium limits the bags and other carriers allowed inside, and guests pass through walk-through metal detectors at the gates. Permitted bags include purses or bags no larger than 12 by 12 inches with a single zipper closure or flap, clear bags no larger than 12.75 by 6.5 by 12.75 inches, and medically necessary items. Diaper bags accompanying an infant are included in the medical-item exception. Permitted bags are subject to inspection.

Bags that do not meet an exception must be returned to your vehicle; the stadium has no bag storage facilities outside. Hard-sided coolers, weapons, alcoholic beverages, cans and glass bottles are prohibited inside. You may bring a factory-sealed plastic bottle containing water, flavored water or a sports drink, up to one liter in size.

Remove cameras and large metal objects for screening at the detectors. If you need accessible seating, wheelchair, semi-ambulatory and companion seating is available throughout the ballpark.

For baseball regular-season games, use the scheduled first pitch to plan your arrival: parking opens two and a half hours beforehand, and the lot does not admit vehicles earlier. Build in time for the gate screening and any bag inspection when deciding when to reach the entrance.
